Ready, Set, Go

It's been a whirlwind lately of wonderful baby showers, getting my hospital bag packed and ready and setting up baby Uber's room! Here I am at 36 weeks and 3 days.

The following are some photos of the baby's room.

Our very generous friends and family have given us so many items in preparation for baby Uber. Scott is continuously amazed at 'how much stuff' such a little person could possibly need. We'll see if he's still saying that when some of these items become very handy....or even better, indispensable!

We went with an animal/Noah's Ark theme and have received so many wonderful gifts that help complete the look of the nursery.

Now that the room is ready, we're just waiting on the little guy to make his big appearance! The doctors think we'll do an induction sometime between 38 and 39 weeks to avoid any complications due to the high risk nature. So the countdown really has begun...and we are getting so excited for our baby to join us!

Scott and I received a real treat today when baby Uber finally didn't have his little fists in front of his face and we were able to get an idea of what the little guy will look like via the 4-D imaging.






Scott thinks his chubby cheeks, mouth and nose all look like his chipmonk mommy, but only time will tell....

They also took a short (VERY short) video of baby Uber swallowing. They told me it looks like he is practicing for breastfeeding, which is great since I will have no idea what I'm supposed to do!
